How to: find a mentor to help you develop your skills

Recently, we published an article about 7 sought-after skills in 2023. Did you know that a feature of the platform allows you to search for mentors based on these aspects you would like to develop?

The filter in the mentor search allows you to target those who have mentoring interests relevant to your skill development.

1. In the Mentor Search tab, you can filter by interests:

Before completing your search, you must select Interests from the drop-down menu highlighted in the image below: 

You will then be presented with a list of mentors that match your search. These mentoring interests are aspects that the mentors have mastered and for which they are qualified to support you in your professional development.

2. Check a mentor's interests directly on their profile

If you have already identified a mentor and would like to see if his or her knowledge matches what you are looking for, you can consult the Professional Interests and Mentoring Interests sections of their profile. These sections will give you an overview of what they do on a daily basis at work, as well as what they want to share through mentoring.
